How to introduce art into everyday life while promoting France's rich oenological heritage? This is the question that the two founders of Pont des Arts wine asked themselves when they met in Hong Kong in 2010. From this reflection was born the idea of decorating bottles of wine with works of art.
The characteristics sought for the wines? A particular perfume, a great power and elegance. These qualities can also be applied to the paintings that adorn and accompany the bottles: chosen with the artist, the work of art must correspond to the flavor of each wine and, in addition to a booklet on its origin and production, is accompanied by a presentation of the artist and his work so that tasting and contemplation are perfectly associated.
Art and Wine are the highest joys of free men
Born from the imagination of two French entrepreneurs, Pont des Arts Wine is intended for epicureans all over the world, from the East to the West. After a first collection inspired by the work of the famous painter Piet Mondrian, the work of the world-renowned Franco-Chinese artist Zao Wou-ki has been put forward: his calligraphy has, for example, been reproduced on the bottle (designed by Lalique more than a century ago) of the oldest Armagnac in the world. A great illustration of the collaboration between the best partners and producers around the world to create unique experiences.
