It was in Grange-sur-Vologne, in the Vosges, that Monique and Thierry Dronet opened their huge garden to the public. Wishing to make discover the flora of the Vosges region, this couple created a plant theatre composed of several atmospheres.

Awarded "Most Beautiful Gardens of France" in 2005, the Gardens of Berchigranges are the result of the will and passion of a gardener and a nurserywoman.
These nature lovers have transformed the landscape to offer visitors a haven of peace filled with poetry.
Perched at an altitude of 700 meters, the garden was originally a spruce plantation on a granite quarry. It took a lot of patience (over 20 years!) and nearly 2,200 tons of soil imported to the site to be able to build this garden, which today houses more than 4,000 varieties of plants.
Structured in the French style or with a wilder appearance, these gardens spread over 3 hectares offer you the opportunity to walk through many worlds with different floral compositions.
Located on high ground, where flowers from the plains and mountains meet, they are ideally situated to bring together plants from a wide variety of origins, from the beaches of the North Sea to... the Himalayas!
Every month, the plots of this fairy-tale place reinvent themselves with new blooms. Narcissus, bellflowers, delphiniums or gentians: according to the seasons you can admire horticultural plants and wild plants in turn.
Finally, if the discovery of this place has made you want to start working the land, the nursery offers you to bring plants to brighten up your own garden.
