This simple guided tour will take you to the heart of the village classified as "Most Beautiful Villages of France", on the banks of the royal river Loire. We will discover the history of Montsoreau, closely linked to its ports on the banks of the river, and then the districts of the old walled city. We will make a detour through the courtyard of the famous castle, not forgetting to mention the Lady of Montsoreau!
Then we will go up to the heights of the hillside to talk about troglodytes and local specialties, and to admire superb panoramas on the Loire and the castle. We will finish by the oldest part of the village and its church.
